HUGE post - Collective Haul!

Hello, hello! Long time no blog, I'm not going to repeat that I am swamped in work. My midterms start next week and I am slowly but surely preparing for them... T_T
Also, I found out that I got an A for my summer class, a nice way to boost my GPA by 0.7 LOL.

So on to the (small) haul, shall we?
First, I'm going to start off with my rain boots. I had a pair I got for $15 but it was one of those things where I really "got what you paid for" and the front parts ripped within the first season I wore them (not to mention the overwhelming smell of rubber). Basically, rain/snow was getting into my boots if I stepped into a puddle and that really was not... working well for me. Drenched socks are no fun. So I got these Sperry Top-Sider ones in Navy/Yellow/Grey. So far, so good because it doesn't smell haha. But we'll have to see for sure. They were originally for $80-100 but I got them for $30. Pretty good deal I guess. Really loving the... nautical(?) feel I get from them lol :)

Next up is my small Bath and Body Works. It was buy 2 get 1 free and I really only wanted the Paris Amour shower gel (it smells like Juicy Couture's viva la juicy, I think) but the sales lady INSISTED I bought another one so I got the sweet pea shower gel/lotion combo. Classical scent from B&BW and I'm thinking of giving it to my co-worker as a Christmas gift.

And I was dying to get a new BB cream that was water based so I got the Lioele Water Drop BB cream. I think it was $18 + veeeery generous freebies from yeppeunsonyuh. If you're looking for cheap Korean/Asian brand make up or circle lens, she's your gal!

Some clothes I bought as well.

^Banana Republic, Size Small, $15. It's a size small but it's definitely meant to be off-shoulders. And the sleeves are a little long, but that's just how I like it. Oh, and those sparkles!! Love, love, love!
Extras:

Ann Taylor, Size Small, $13 - I know this looks like a typical shirt in picture but it's really not because the middle navy part is a little sheer! Not quite mesh but sheer.
Extra:

^Banana Republic, Size XS, $15 - I'm usually a small so I was pretty disappointed to find that they only had this in XS. But I tried it on and it fit! I got this mainly because I thought the front was so pretty, almost like curtains!
Extra:

And last but definitely not least - Sephora! Sorry for the blurry picture :(

Urban Decay The Revolution Eyelash Curler, 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner in Demolition, Laura Mercier Lipstick in "Belle".

Extra pictures for the UD Revolution Eyelash Curler :

Andddd the UD 24/7 eyeliner! It's really nice but I was expecting a slightly lighter shade of brown... it's pretty dark. I can't imagine how dark black would be!

And that is ALL!
So, what do you guys think of my damage? Haha. Especially the eyelash curler... let me know what you think!

Mom, Angry, Omelette Rice, NANA's B - SHINee BB Cream

This entry was never published, was supposed to be published Saturday! :(

*Today kinda sucks so far even though it's only 30 minutes past noon :( I woke up to a nice big zit on my cheek, it's under the skin too. HUGE (literally -- it almost looks like a bad bug bite...) and under the skin. It's going to take forever for it to go away =( It's sore as well.. ugh so bad why do zits exist!??! Andddd my mama was mad at me (we rarely EVER fight and it really was not my fault today) so... overall a horrible morning. I decided I'd leave her alone because I know everyone has those angry days lol. But just now my mom walked into my room with this

so we automatically made up :) It's her omelette with an Asian twist? lolol.

And if you were curious, under the egg! Fried rice with mushroom, spinach, shrimp, shredded squid, carrot.

Speaking of my zit, I wanted to do a review of NANA's B - SHINee's BB cream. I know everrryone does reviews on them but I don't see so many on this particular one.
For starters, it was made by LG's personal care laboratory and Korean boy group SHINee endorsed it. It has SPF 20 so a separate sunblock is not necessary but it wouldn't hurt I think. Some of my other BB creams have like SPF 45, so 20 isn't that high at all. Apparently they use "Angel's tear" a natural phytosubstance that prevents and eases troubled skin. It is also recommended for adolescent skin.

Where to buy: http://yeppeunsonyuh.com/ (legitimate US/NYC seller - but she's going to Korea soon!)

Price: USD$19, +$2 shipping (which is really cheap by the way), or free with a purchase of $30. All international orders are $5 regardless of amount! And she accepts cash/money order for those who don't use paypal.

I compared it to my Lioele - Beyond the Solution BB cream. And this is where the pros/cons took place.

PROS:
-Very light, almost mousse-like texture. It's actually kind of hard to call it a "cream" it feels much lighter than that.
-Blends easily.
-It has a very subtle scent, subtle enough not to bother me but also subtle enough for me to enjoy it. It smells quite nice actually. Not floral-y or too fruity.
-It does have SPF 20 so you're not completely unprotected from the sun.
-Of course, the pretty boys of SHINee.
-CUTE/SLEEK PACKAGING *O* I'm a sucker for cute packaging!
-They have a list of names of the teenagers/young adults who apparently took place in the laboratory studies on the side of the box, which I think is respectable!
-No white cast!

CONS:
-As you will see below, it is extremely light and I think it only comes in one shade, if not there probably aren't many other. I'm pretty sure this is the only shade as it does not indicate WHICH shade it is.
-Because it's light, I don't think many people can use it. I didn't have a particular problem with it because I am pretty pale but coverage is VERY light.
-My bottle was new but it had quite a bit of air in it. I don't really like how you have to squeeze it out either, wish there was a pump! They probably filled it with air BECAUSE you need to squeeze it out and they probably didn't want the cream to explode out on the first use. But still, air is.. air.
-Considering it was designed for acne skin, I don't think it did much to help my acne. But it didn't harm me either!
***This is up for swap if anyone is interested! Leave a comment with your e-mail if interested! ***

So here's the packaging, pretty sleek right?

And the list of participants as I mentioned before.

Pretty boys LOL. SHINee!

The actual bottle itself.

The side. I really REALLY REALLLLY like the packaging! I loveee Korean beauty product package :D 99.9% of the time, they are absolutely adorable.

So here 1) I spelled the SHINee part wrong hahah sorry about that. 2) I compared it to my lieole beyond the solution BB cream which I use everyday! Lieole isn't even that dark to start off with, so you can really see how much lighter the SHINee one is.

I .. can't explain the bad lighting. BUT you can still see that the NANA's B BB cream is still very light!
Repurchase?: No.

Overall: 3.5/5 (But I'm a hard grader!)

So yeah, that's about it! Hope this helps if you were interested in this particular bb cream at all :)

PS. I want a new camera (DSLR) and my birthday is coming up! From all the saved paychecks/previous Christmas money from my Uncle & Aunt, I think I can buy a camera AND have some money left over! Should I?!...... dun dun dun I don't know. I get so scared when I need to spend a lot of money LOL.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with yeppensonyuh in any way. I purchased the BB cream with my own money and my opinions are of course 100% my own.

Yeppeunsonyuh & Recent Purcahses (Long post ahead!)

First and foremost: *Thank you for the recent follows. I'll follow back~

How I missed you, blog! It's been 10+ days since I last updated and now I'm going to make sure I post something at least every three days. School definitely takes a toll on my time and I started working out so there goes my blog time, haha. I think I'm really... bad at doing reviews but I'm going to keep doing them so I get better aha :p YAY FOR NO MORE SHOPPING BAN. :P
Link
Secondly, I'd like to share a website called www.yeppeunsonyuh.com ("yeppeunsonyuh" means pretty girl) and the store owner is also a soompi member. For the past two years(?) I've bought from her and they get to me within 3 days without fail. But that's probably because we live in the same state but regardless -- you WILL get your purchase within a week, if you reside in the US. Plus her prices are VERY reasonable. I wear normal contacts and I personally don't really like circle lenses but if you want to try it, DEFINITELY try her out! Here's my latest purchase from her:

Braided hairband
(Credit: Yeppeunsonyuh)

My photo. As you can see, it's very shiny/glossy (it looks real!) and luckily it's my hair shade! I've been watching "My Princess" lately and I love how Kim Tae Hee had her hair braided pretty often in the beginning but I don't have that kind of time in the morning. Now I just wear this baby everywhere I go LOL. This was for $12.49 which is reasonable considering how expensive some things from Korea are here in the US. There's a thinner version for cheaper, I think. Plus the ends kind of wrap behind your ear (at least for me) so it's really impossible to tell that it's actually a hair band!

Green tassel phone charm: I think this was $8ish and I normally never spend that much money on phone charms but I couldn't resist this one. It's actually pretty bulky (I LOVE BULKY THINGS!) and it's from the Korean website: Richbon.com. It's like a faux leather... kind of material. SO CUTE! I don't want to use it yet though, not sure if I want to wait until my next phone to use it lol :p I wish they had a red one :( My blackberry cover is red so I'd really use it now if it.

I also got Etude eyelid tape but it wasn't for me so I can't really review it. But it was well packaged and my friend says it's comparable to the eyecharm ones.

Thirdly, Macy's! I pass by a Macy's everyday now so I get tempted to go inside every time. I went in everyday since Monday LOL. And I never left empty handed.

Clinique: ~$34 together. Clinique is the only skincare line I use on my face, I have very fair complexion and sensitive skin, dry -- yet acne prone. I love Clinique's acne solution line EXCEPT for the moisturizer. Stuff dries me out SOOOOOOOO much I can't move my face for hours after I use it. It works well though. Just too painful for me. So I use steps 1, 2 and the DDM (gel -- no oil) and it works like a charm every time. I wish I had gotten the pump for the DDM but... yeah I've been spending way too much money.

Material Girl(?): Not a brand I'm familiar with but that doesn't mean I won't buy it if it's cute! Love the zipper on the back but it's not really true to size. But it was on clearance ($11) and I couldn't resist. There are studs.. and I don't know how I feel about them. I mean, I like them but I just can't "rock" it. Lol, tough luck for me! Can't wait till the weather warms up so I can wear it :) The material is very light and soft so it'll be perfect for summer. I don't know why but I don't like wearing revealing things even in the midst of 100 degree weather. I need shirts like this to get by NY humidity.

Random brand that I don't know again: This was also on clearance ($13) and it's adorable :) The back is really interesting and the sleeves are folded about an inch and have buttons. Love the pocket in the front and I love the price! I got the shirt above on Monday and this one on Tuesday LOL :( I'm going to stop, I promise! I kind of like this shirt more than the one above because of the sleeves, my favorite style. It's a little bit sheer though, but I don't think it shows anything.

*stock photos

My photo. Obviously my camera and lights hate me. It looks exactly like the stock photos though~

$7. Retails $25. So as I posted before, I love bags. LOVE THEM I CAN'T EVER HAVE ENOUGH OF THEM! D:" This was so cute I couldn't pass it up. End of story. It's small and crossbody and ugh just so CUTE!

$25 so cute as well. Lawl, the back is higher than it looks. I appreciate the extra 4-5 inches. I love ruffles and bows so this was too cute to pass up as well. Sucks for my wallet, I have $6 to use until next Monday. LOL The only flaw I can find on these were that they're not very true to color :| I expended a lighter shade of grey but that's alright, grey is still grey (plus my lighting isn't that good).

Lastly, I'm tired. So tired. I slept two hours yesterday. POOPPED, I''m going to sleep at 8. So excited about my packages though ahah :p
