I am a winner! & updated review on Laneige

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii :)
So before I posted about loveFEMME's nail polish giveaway and guess what?! I won!
Her blog is something special to me because it's the first blog I followed, the first giveaway I entered (through her blog), and the first time winning a giveaway! And aside from being talented, I think she's very down-to-earth which I don't find too common amongst many bloggers.

I received the package today and she also put in hello kitty extras -- which I loved as a child and I still do now! Also a little note with her super neat hand writing! I obviously love everything. I can't wait to try the nail polish! And I don't know how to control my emotions with the hello kitty stuff LOL. I acted cool about it in front of my dad but you guys probably know that I'm beaming and dancing inside like a little girl LOL.

hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe...... =D

AND. I decided to give an update about the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Mask since I used it Thursday! I use it Mondays and Thursdays, the recommended 2x a week lol.

I feel this picture does the beads inside more justice. I just realized that the exfoliating beads also look like strawberry seeds, haha. As soon as you start gently rubbing it on your skin it breaks down and starts doing its job :) I also recommend that you keep it in the fridge because I feel like it gives a cooling sensation which is a nice way to wrap up your day.

This is the "dead skin" after I massaged it around my face for the recommended 1 minute. It's a little gross... lol but I think my skin has been looking better since I started using it. It doesn't say anything about whitening but I really feel it's whitening my face (which is a good thing for me I guess). I guess I'm still pale as ever LOL. Lastly, it leaves my skin baby-skin soft. There's no other way to say it. Like a baby's butt! rofl

Over all, 4.5/5 from me. -.5 because I don't think anything can be too perfect, especially if it's for your face.

TGIF, everyone!

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii :)

I love Fridays because I always go shopping on Fridays. Lol, I have no time otherwise (school, work, school, work work work, school). And thank goodness my shopping ban is over! So today I went shopping at a few places and here are the buys of today. The only thing I didn't get on sale was my hello kitty wristlet but who cares, it's $7.89! I never like buying things for retail unless I HAVEEE to LOL.

Since I already mentioned the hello kitty wristlet,

ta-da! I fell in love with the sparkly bow! It's bigger than my coach wrislet so that's cool. This was definitely an impulse buy because I have no use for it. I mean I do, but it wasn't really necessary. I liked it soo much I couldn't go past it :|

Juicy Couture - $118 -> $74 -> $37 -> $21.73
Every juicy owner loves their juicy sweats because they're so comfortable! I own two but this is my first baby pink one. Of course, being that it's juicy it HAS to be expensive. But I can't afford that so all my juicy things were bought on sale. With that said, I normally paid $50 for my sweats because even that was a steal compared to their $120 price. I love the silver lettering on the left but it's more of velour material than the ones I own (the material reminds me of a really nice towel LOL). Best juicy buy of this year thus far =) I also wanted a juicy locket necklace that was on sale but I didn't get it.

Evelyn Cashmere (100%) - $218 -> $119 -> $79 -> $38.xx
My mom loves the cashmere material because, well, it looks quite elegant without sacrificing warmth. But cashmere is usually very expensive, especially if it's 100%. Well, last time I went and I was going to get it at the $79 price because even that's cheap compared to the $218. But I didn't for some reason and left the store only with my things (and a little bit of guilt). Today I made up for that by buying this :) Of course my mom loves it! They had it in grey but it was ripped. Plus my mom doesn't own much red so =D

Chelsea & Theodore Cashmere (100%) - $238 -> $199 -> $86 -> $44.xx
Another cashmere. Also for my mom. The buttons on this one is very interesting and it's very um... cowl neck? And the sleeves are short with a button thing on the side. I was going to keep it if my mom didn't want it but of course she did. I think this is the first time she actually REALLY liked what I got her. Too bad the camera didn't pick up the design that well. The design on this one is a lot prettier.

Covington - $40 -> $32 -> $18 -> $14.99
Vests make a fashion statement but you have to be very careful when picking out a vest, especially if you're not all that skinny (points at nose). While vests may look pretty on the front, the sides and back can make you look a lot thicker! Especially the curtain or drape style vests. So I tried this on 5 different times to make sure it didn't do that and tada! A successful vest. It's very marbled and I know what I'm going to wear with this. Expect an OOTD soon!

Joe Boxer - $17.90 -> $11.99 -> $6.99
Hello, new pjs. Lol Joe Boxer = WIN when it comes to sleepwear. Their apparel is very comfortable for sleeping so these were mandatory for me to buy. The one I'm wearing right now has holes all over :( haha. The one on the right is for my mom :)

That's it for today folks, enjoy your weekends!

Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Mask & Free Coffee!

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii:)

Aha! Here's the post I promised :) So glad today is Thursday, my weekend begins now. But today I was sad because people are so mean :( Both my bus drivers to and from school... they were so mean! I can't deal with the city life sometimes. A lot of people are cynical New Yorkers and I find myself trying very hard not to become like them. I like being happy!

So I came home to find two things I wasn't expecting. I came home to a deluxe sample of Laneige's Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Mask and Nescafe Taster's Choice Instant Coffee Sampler. Ahh both are so exciting!

I used the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Mask tonight to mend my broken heart from mean people today and it made everrrrything better. It actually says "do not eat" because it smells SO good -- better than yogurt since it doesn't have that milk smell. There are microbeads that I don't think show too much on the pictures but it functions as a gentle exfoliate.

So as you can see, there are small brown specks which are the beads. It doesn't really feel as "gel-y" as it looks but it definitely is more heavier than just the plain yogurt you would normally eat but I think it's because of the beads. Still very light and the smell is delightful.

Directions:
Wash face (do your normal skincare routine) but this is before moisturizing. Many people actually don't know this, so just putting this out there.
Apply a small amount on your hand, about the size of a dime-nickle.
Dab it around your face evenly so that it reaches all of your face.
Massage for a minute until the dead skin falls off.
Rinse face with warm water, moisturize.

It says your skin should feel better by the next morning so I'll see and let you guys know!

I'm not a fan of instant coffee (or coffee in itself) but who can say no to free? I'll probably try these during my all-nighters! haha, there are 6 flavors and a $1 off coupon. I'm going to buy one that tastes the best. The flavors are: Hazelnut, French Roast, 100% Colombian, House Blend, Decaf House Blend, and Vanilla. I'm excited to try these! Pretty neat huh?

That's it for today, folks. Have a good night and TGIF! (TGIT in my case)

An Update & OOTD

What the heck?! It's been more than ten days since my last post! Time... really flies. Oh wow.
Well, today was a slightly below average day for me. My bus was delayed 40 minutes and I had this big fat pimple the size of Texas next to my mouth (probably because I've been tired and stressed lately). Thankfully it's gone now ;_; I'm so full right now because I'm on my second bottle of water, trying to fulfill that 1.5 liters we're supposed to drink. I did accomplish it on Monday and my skin was different by Tuesday morning. Much more clearer, I think. But I didn't get to do it yesterday and I ended up with a big fat pimple. Make sure you guys drink your water!

So basically, if you drink the typical 1pt poland spring water (the ones in the eco friendly bottle) -- you should be drinking at least 3 of those bottles to equal 1.5 liters.... that's a lot of water but it's good for you! I normally drink 3/4 of one bottle the entire day :|

But on the brighter note, I printed a $5 off $15 for TGI Fridays and had an early dinner with my mom =) Since their foods are quite fattening, we wanted to eat dinner asap and not eat or drink anything (besides water of course!) afterwards. So we finished eating around 4 and now it's 7:30. Haha, I felt like I was cheating on my diet. Oh well, at least I worked out after! To be honest, I'm hungry again!

Lastly, an OOTD. My next OOTD picture will be of me actually wearing the clothes, lol. Today I took off everything and I was so tired to wear everything again so yeah. Kept it pretty simple because I had school today and had to meet up with someone afterwards. I wore a light jacket outside of this (50 degrees today, baby!) and I was good to go. I wore dark wash AE skinny jeans with these and my dark brown UGG dakotas. I was dressed in brown today lol. Today was a day I wanted to dress up in brown. So yeah. Promise to post tomorrow!

Cardigan - F21 ($12)
Brown Shirt - Macy's ($3)
